Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson – Relator

Pete Yorn (b. July 27, 1974) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Yorn started as a drummer who also played guitar. In 1990, he was drumming for his band in a high school talent contest when someone suggested he sing the Replacements song, “Talent Show.” That went over so well, a competing band asked him to sing Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” with them.

He was first recognized when the Farrelly brothers picked “Strange Condition” for their film Me, Myself & Irene.

He has gained increasing popularity following the use of his song “Just Another” on popular WB television show Dawson’s Creek.

Scarlett Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American film actress and singer. In October 2006 Johansson signed to Rhino Entertainment’s Atco Records. Her first album Anywhere I Lay My Head (released May 20, 2008) consists of cover versions of ten Tom Waits songs along with one original track. She has also appeared in several music videos, including Bob Dylan’s “When The Deal Goes Down” and Justin Timberlake’s “What Goes Around…/…Comes Around”.

Johansson is also known for her collaboration with will.i.am in “Yes We Can,” a song fashioned after a well-known speech of democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
