The Wiseguys was a British electronica and hip hop band that was responsible for creating the song ”Start the Commotion” that was in a Mitsubishi TVadvertisement, as well as the films Lizzie McGuire, Zoolander and Kangaroo Jack; and “Ooh La La”, which was used in Budweiser commercials. Both tracks of which came from The Wiseguys second album, The Antidote. The band was formed in 1994 with two members, Touche (Theo Keating) and Regal (real name Paul Eve). They were partners from 1990 and released an EP called “Ladies Say Ow!” in the same year on the Blackmarket record label. The record label Wall of Sound signed the duo and released the double A-side ”Nil by Mouth” / “Too Easy” in 1995. Their first album Executive Suite was released in 1996 to critical acclaim, feature downtempo jazz beats and happy optimistic hip-hop numbers, and is now considered a cult classic.

To describe 65daysofstatic is not an easy task. Indeed, most who have tried can merely hint at the depths these guys reach with their wide-open sounds, melding seamless guitar shapes with ferocious drum ‘n bass styled beats, live drums and c-c-c-computer g-g-g-g-glitch. A soundtrack to a new dimension, where rock, dance and electronica are equals. A refreshing glimpse into the future at a time when the music industry has arguably been far too obsessed with all things retro.
To describe a 65daysofstatic live show is an even harder task. Viciously euphoric, frenetic, overwhelming, bordering on chaos and really, really loud. It’s what the band thrive on and how they win armies of new admirers every time they go out on the road.

Muscles is an Australian electronica musician. His debut album Guns Babes Lemonade was released in Australia on 29 September 2007. The album entered the Australian ARIA Album Chart at #14 on 8 October 2007, reaching #3 on the Australian Artist Chart and #1 on the Dance Album Chart in its first week.

The Smashing Pumpkins are an American alternative rock band that formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. While the group has gone through several lineup changes, The Smashing Pumpkins consisted of Billy Corgan (vocals/guitar), James Iha(guitar/backing vocals), D’arcy Wretzky (bass guitar/backing vocals), and Jimmy Chamberlin (drums/percussion) for most of the band’s recording career. Disavowing the punk rock roots shared by many of their alt-rock contemporaries the Pumpkins have a diverse, densely layered, and guitar-heavy sound, containing elements of gothic rock, heavy metal, dream pop, psychedelic rock, arena rock, shoegazer-style production and, in later recordings, electronica. Frontman Billy Corgan is the group’s primary songwriter—his grand musical ambitions and cathartic lyrics have shaped the band’s albums and songs, which have been described as “anguished, bruised reports from Billy Corgan’s nightmare-land”.

Basement Jaxx are a critically acclaimed UK electronica duo, comprising Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, that rose to popularity in the late 1990s. Basement Jaxx started in Brixton, South London in 1994, where they held a regular club night called Rooty, the namesake of their second artist album. In 1999, the group released their first full length album, Remedy to wide acclaim. Remedy includes the single “Red Alert”, which was featured in the film Bend It Like Beckham and commercials including Nickelodeon and Coca-Cola.
